It’s time to put the finishing touches on those costumes and dust off those decorations because the All Hallows' Eve is finally upon us. Whether you’re dressing as a zombie, nurse or President Trump, Halloween is a time for all the freaks and geeks to celebrate as one. As the spooky day quickly approaches, here’s a list of frighteningly good drink deals, parties and events to make the most of this scary season.

Tuesday, Oct. 30

  • Tri Delta is hosting Trick or Treat with Tri Delta for all Panhellenic women from 7 to 9 p.m. The event includes free Insomnia Cookies, Halloween games and a costume contest with a trophy and $50 Amazon gift card awarded to the winner.

  • Movie and TV fans should venture to Clicks Billiards and Sports Bar dressed as their favorite villains for the “Villains and Victims” Halloween Bash. Party starts at 8 p.m. and ends at 2 a.m.

  • TKE and DKE are hosting their Halloween party at Splash Nightclub starting at 9 p.m.

Wednesday, Oct. 31

  • Ship of Fools will play at La Divina Italian Cafe from 6 to 8 p.m. La Divina will be offering dinner specials, wine selections, beer and gelato. Tickets are available on Eventbrite.com

  • The Varsity Theatre is hosting a costume party with live performances by J. Bangga, Droflow, J. Marquis and Brand Nu. Best costume wins a $100 cash prize. Doors open at 9 p.m.

  • Duvic’s Martini Lounge is hosting the Junco Jam Halloween Party from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. with open jam led by Keagon Soto and Jesse Zeringue. Drink specials will be offered and costumes are encouraged.

  • Listen to the 80s cover band Werewolf at Fred’s Bar in Tigerland at 10 p.m.

  • Curbside Burgers is hosting a Horror Movie Trivia Night from 7 to 9 p.m. Prizes will be given during and after the event to winners.

  • Watch performances by Captain Green, Hydra Plane and Dubya at Mid City Ballroom during The Spanish Moon Halloween. Doors open at 7 p.m. and show starts at 8 p.m. Tickets are $10, and it’s BYOB. Cash prizes and upcoming show tickets will be awarded to costume contest winners.

  • Backstreet Lounge will host a costume party starting at 6:30 p.m.

  • Bayou Kings Productions and Ruffin’s Downtown Daiquiris will host a Halloween costume party. Ladies wearing a costume get in free from 10 to 11 p.m. Women without a costume pay $7 cover and $5 after 11 p.m. Men pay $5 with costume and $10 without. Mix drinks will be $3 and beer $2.

  • The LSU Tiger Band will perform at Halloween Horns at 7:30 p.m. in the Tiger Band Hall.

  • Go sing karaoke at Funbox Karaoke’s Halloween event from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m. Best costume wins a $100 bar tab.

  • Need a workout, but still want to celebrate? White Star Market will host a Halloween yoga class on the patio at 6 p.m. Costumes are encouraged.

  • Get in the spirit with the Halloween Wine Walk downtown from 5:30 to 11 p.m. Tickets are $10 on Eventbrite.com. Best wine costume wins a bottle.

  • Party at Mike’s Bar in Tigerland at 8 p.m. and win $500 for best costume. Open bar from 8 to 10 p.m. and $1 jello shots all night.

  • Listen to Jamie Lynn Vessels at Bottle and Tap at 8 p.m. and enjoy drink specials.

  • George’s Place will host Mariah Scary Karaoke from 9 p.m. until 2 a.m. with free cover and drink specials for 21 plus.

  • Splash Nightclub’s Halloween 2018 Show Party will feature a performance by Kiki Kats and a costume contest. Best costume wins $200 cash plus prizes.

  • Join Port Royal Lounge for their Halloween party starting at 6 p.m. Drink specials available.

  • University students can head to the International Cultural Center for food, pumpkin carving and a scary movie. Costumes are encouraged, and the Halloween fun begins at 6:30 p.m.

  • Pluckers Wing Bar trivia regulars should stick to their Wednesday night plans for a Halloween-themed trivia night.

  • BYOP - Bring your own pumpkin instead of weights to the Halloween class at Jazzercise of Baton Rouge at 5:30 p.m.

  • Mellow Mushroom will have Scary Movie one to three trivia at 8 p.m. with $10 bottomless drinks. Karaoke to follow.

  • Wear a costume to Phil Brady’s Bar and Grill for Leather Apron Theatre Company's Halloween Night to watch some improv comedy and experimental theatre.

  • Head to Bogie's Bar for the Phi Psi Halloween party starting at 8 p.m.

  • Feeling a margarita from Superior Grill? Drink one in costume while listening to local bands on the patio. Superior is giving away prizes for first, second and third place costume contest winners. Get there between 4:30 and 6:30 p.m. for two-for-one margaritas.
