  • The LSU Student Activities Board presents “Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom” at Outdoor Movie Night on the Parade Ground at 8 p.m. The SAB will also show the film on Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the LSU Union Theater and 7 p.m. in the Cotillion Ballroom. Admission is free with your TigerCard.


  • Students interested in LSU Student Media can see all it has to offer at its Open House from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Meet student editors and managers, tour the facilities in Hodges Hall, and learn how you can get involved in The Daily Reveille, TigerTV, Legacy Magazine, KLSU or the Gumbo yearbook.

  • The LSU Symphony Orchestra performs at 7:30 p.m. in the LSU Union Theater. Find the music program here, and purchase tickets online here.

  • Opening night of Swine Palace’s “The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time” kicks off in the Shaver Theater at 7:30 p.m. The play will run for nine days. Find production dates and times here and read more about the play here.

  • The Capital Region Builders Association hosts the Job-Site Safety Institute (JSI), a four hour Fall Prevention in Residential Construction training seminar for builders, trade contractors, supervisors and workers. The program focuses on identifying fall hazards in residential construction, as well as, providing attendees an understanding of the OSHA fall protection regulations and safe work practices to prevent fall-related injuries and deaths. This class will be for CE credit. Admission is free but registration is required at capitalregionba.com/events.
