Naz Reid (Roselle, New Jersey) signed his National Letter of Intent with LSU on Monday.

Reid, the No. 17 player in the country according to 247sports.com, joins four-stars Ja'Vonte Smart and Darius Days as members of LSU basketball's 2018 recruiting class.

“We are happy to have Naz Reid joining our LSU basketball family,” said LSU coach Will Wade. “He is a player that brings a combination of strength, length and a shooting touch with him that will have an immediate impact on our program next season. He has the type of game that will easily transfer to college play when he arrives at LSU. We look forward to working with him and adding to his game to prepare him for the next level.”

Reid is a part of a recruiting class that is ranked No. 3 in the country behind North Carolina and Kansas.
